Senior Researcher/Advisor, Singapore

Your role will be in supporting clients in our core services areas – societal trends analysis, reputation & trust-building, materiality assessments, sustainability strategy development, consumer engagement & sustainable living, and stakeholder engagement & advocacy – and helping to build the GlobeScan brand in Singapore.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities and contribute to strategic planning for APAC
  • Lead in managing projects, including oversight on the work plan, deliverable schedule and budget
  • Analyze insights, draft reports and present findings and implications to clients 
  • Help drive business development, drafting proposals and supporting the growth of key accounts
  • Build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients in the region
  • Stay informed about industry developments and relevant peer/competitor activities

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in social science research or consulting
  • Impeccable writing and oral skills in English
  • Experience in advising clients in some of GlobeScan’s core service areas (see above)
  • Self-starter mentality and highly collaborative mindset
  • Strong cultural and business knowledge of the APAC market
  • Understanding of the sustainability landscape in Asia Pacific is advantageous
  • Have a strong sense of purpose, mission, and passion about driving a positive future
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or other Asian language is a plus
