28th April 2023 – GlobeScan is pleased to announce the appointment of Andréa Álvares as a new independent Director to its Board.
Andréa is a Regenerative Systems Developer and Independent Thinker. She has 30 years of professional experience, 27 of which in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) companies including Natura, PepsiCo, and P&G. For the last six and a half years, Andréa was the Chief Brand, Innovation, and Sustainability Officer for Natura and led the company’s operations outside of Latin America. Before this, she was President of the PepsiCo Beverages Division in Brazil.
Andréa was listed as one of the Forbes Most Influential Women in Brazil in 2016 and awarded Professional of the Year by Atualidade Cosmética Publication in 2019. In 2022, she was considered one of the ‘25 Badass Women Shaping Climate Action’ awarded by GreenBiz Group and was included in the World Federation of Advertisers Global Marketer Hall of Fame’s inaugural list.
Andréa has served on a number of Boards over the past ten years, including the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the Council for Conscious Capitalism Brazil. She continues to serve on the Board of the Cradle-to-Cradle Products Innovation Institute.
