Healthy and Sustainable Living Report and Webinars 2019

The Healthy & Sustainable Living study was designed and launched with a range of partners including GlobeScan, IKEA, P&G, PepsiCo, VF Corporation, Visa, Worldwide Brewing Alliance and WWF International to help companies better understand the barriers and enablers of living in a way that is good for people and the planet.

The study surveyed 25,000 people across 25 countries to explore current understanding, concerns, expectations, and opportunities to support healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.

Global Webinar #2: Driving Sustainable Living – 5 February 2020

On February 5, our webinar focused on the current state of sustainable living and how leading companies are working to drive more impact.

After an overview of our Healthy & Sustainable Living study, Randi Kronthal-Sacco, Senior Scholar, Center for Sustainable Business, NYU Stern School of Business, presented findings from their Sustainable Market Share Index, based on an in-depth analysis of consumer purchases of products that are marketed for their sustainable attributes.

The second part of the webinar featured two leading brands, IKEA and PepsiCo, and how they are engaging consumers differently to help drive sustainable living. The panel was moderated by GlobeScan’s CEO, Chris Coulter, and included:

  • Malin Pettersson-Beckeman, Head of Sustainability Communications & Engagement, Inter-IKEA

Asia Webinar – 11 December 2019

On December 11, our webinar explored the need and business case, particularly in Asia, for engaging with consumers to enable more sustainable consumption.

GlobeScan’s Wander Meijer presented an overview of the study, with a focus on the results from Asia. This was followed by a panel discussion and an interactive audience Q&A with expert guests:

Global Webinar – 26 November 2019

On November 26, GlobeScan hosted an interactive webinar that shared evidence suggesting that we are approaching a needed tipping point for mobilizing consumer behavior change at scale, and how influential organizations can help maintain momentum in our collective interests.

Launch Event – 24 September 2019

On September 24 we hosted an in-person and livestreamed event at the AB InBev offices in NYC to explore findings from the Healthy & Sustainable Living study.

Chris Coulter, GlobeScan CEO, opened the event by presenting findings from the global survey. This was followed by a panel discussion with the following senior executives:

Brazil Webinar – 9 October 2019

On October 9th, GlobeScan and the Akatu Institute hosted a webinar on the new Healthy and Sustainable Living study. Focusing on the insights of the survey with Brazilian consumers, the webinar featured Hélio Mattar, president and founder of the Akatu Institute, Álvaro Almeida, Director of GlobeScan in Brazil, Lígia Camargo, Head of Sustainability and Communication at Danone Brazil, and Aron Belinky, an invited expert for the research analysis.

This is a global project by GlobeScan in 25 countries, which in Brazil had the partnership and knowledge of the Akatu Institute to take a deep dive into the perceptions and expectations of the Brazilian consumer.

The project was supported in Brazil by Danone, Faber-Castell, GPA, Klabin, Natura and Nespresso.

Brazil Webinar | Vida Saudável e Sustentável – O que pensa o consumidor brasileiro

A GlobeScan e o Instituto Akatu lançaram no dia 9 de Outubro a pesquisa sobre Vida Saudável e Sustentável. Os principais insights da pesquisa com os consumidores brasileiros foram apresentados em um webinar, que contou com os comentários de Hélio Mattar, presidente e fundador do Instituto Akatu, Álvaro Almeida, Diretor da GlobeScan no Brasil, Lígia Camargo, Head de Sustentabilidade e Comunicação da Danone no Brasil, e Aron Belinky, especialista convidado para a análise das informações.

Este é um projeto global da GlobeScan em 25 países, que no Brasil contou com a parceria e conhecimento do Instituto Akatu para fazer um profundo mergulho nas percepções e expectativas do consumidor brasileiro.

O projeto contou com o apoio no Brasil de Danone, Faber-Castell, GPA, Klabin, Natura e Nespresso.
