23 July 2019 – GlobeScan, an insights and strategy consultancy offering a suite of specialist research and advisory services around reputation, sustainability and purpose, announced today that it is opening a new office in Paris, France. With offices in Cape Town, Hong Kong, London, San Francisco, São Paulo and Toronto, this new office marks the continuing expansion of GlobeScan’s European operations and will enable the consultancy to better serve its clients.
Chris Coulter, GlobeScan CEO, said: “We are delighted about this new development. GlobeScan has been working across Europe for global companies, multilateral organisations and international NGOs for over 15 years. Our client network in France and Western Europe has expanded to such an extent that it was a natural step for us to open a new office here and continue to work toward our company purpose of building trusted leadership to create a better future.”
Through its work with global companies, GlobeScan has demonstrated how building trust with stakeholders and consumers helps leadership organisations enhance their reputations, develop successful sustainability strategies and support purpose-led business.
Perrine Bouhana, Director at GlobeScan France, added: “As a global consultancy with a project track record across more than 120 countries, we are ideally positioned to combine in-depth local knowledge with global best practice, whilst leveraging our global network to the benefit of our clients.”
Thinking specifically about the local French market context, Perrine Bouhana commented: “It is ever more critical for companies in France to rebuild trust with consumers today. According to our global public opinion research program Radar, trust in global companies in France is negative with net trust at –35, meaning a lot more French citizens distrust global companies rather than trust them.”
Thinking of professional stakeholders and experts, Perrine Bouhana added: “Our Sustainability Leaders Survey shows that French companies like Danone have successfully emerged among the most-recognised sustainability leaders globally. There is great momentum in the French market, also fuelled by new regulations like the Loi Pacte, so I am excited about the potential to help more companies build enduring value through the integration and optimisation of purpose, reputation and sustainability.”
